At the Academy of St. Elizabeth, the first all-girls Catholic school in New Jersey, you can expect your daughter to receive a rigorous, values-based education that emphasizes college preparedness, leadership skills, empowerment, and faith. From the time your daughter fills out her application through graduation day and beyond, she'll be mentored and supported by AOSE teachers, administrators, and staff. If you're considering an AOSE education for your child, visit our school to see what we have to offer, whether she's currently a middle school student or will be transferring from another high school, and then embark on our streamlined admissions procedure.
At the Academy of St. Elizabeth, students find that a single-sex education improves confidence and eliminates distraction, creating a vibrant, enthusiastic learning community. In addition to an emphasis on academic excellence, AOSE provides a wealth of extracurricular activities including a range of clubs and community service opportunities and 11 varsity sports, allowing our students to be empowered through leadership and collaboration. With a focus on faith, the curriculum at AOSE is infused with the core values of gospel, community, and prayer. The diverse student body includes students from all ethnicities and socioeconomic categories.
If your family is interested in an AOSE education for your daughter, the first step in the admissions process is a visit to our 200-acre campus in Convent Station, NJ. Those entering as Freshman should plan to attend either an open house or our unique "Freshman for a Day" program that allows prospective students to shadow a current student. Next, you'll submit an application with a $100 fee, and your child will be scheduled to take the AOSE entrance exam. She must also submit two recommendations as well as official transcripts from her current school.
Transfer students should start by filling out an application, and must also submit transcripts and recommendations. While the entrance exam is not required for transfer students, your daughter will undergo an interview with our guidance department prior to admission.
