Principal's Letter

At the Academy of Saint Elizabeth we are proud of our rich history as the first all-girls Catholic high school for young women in the state of New Jersey. Founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1860, we remain dedicated to our core values of educational excellence, charity, community, justice and service. While we honor our past and those who played a vital role in the formation of our culture, we look forward to a “new day” at the Academy and building for the future by providing our students with essential skills, knowledge and experiences to support our goal of developing lifelong learners ready to meet the challenges of a dynamic, technologically-driven world.

As a result of a rigorous academic program and the nurturing of body and soul through commitment to the ideals of faith and Gospel values rooted in the love of God and neighbor, our students emerge as strong, empowered, independent young women. We pride ourselves on a warm, nurturing environment with academics and faith at its core. Enjoy your exploration of our website. We hope that you will discover all that makes the Academy of Saint Elizabeth a wonderful place to learn and grow in mind, body and spirit.
