AOSE Student Council

Meet your 2017-2018 Student Council officers:
Hello, my name is Claire McVicar and I am a senior at the Academy. I am the Student Council president for the 2017-2018 school year. I am the third oldest of four girls.  I live in Denville, New Jersey, and I have two dogs, Rocco and Flex. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and playing sports. I play soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, where I meet many new people. I am part of the Spanish Club, Yearbook Club, Toward Boundless Charity, Healthcare Club, and I am an ambassador for the school. I cannot wait to create many memories on Student Council and make everyone’s year the greatest it can be!
My name is Elizabeth Kilgore and I am honored to serve as your student council Vice President.  At a towering 5’2”, I enjoy unicycling and slam-dunking (sometimes at the same time).  My hobbies include eating spaghetti and laughing at my own jokes.  I am an avocado enthusiast and an advocate for the correct use of the word literally.  You can find me on the basketball court or whipping around on my moped at a safe and leisurely speed.  I look forward to serving on Student Council and integrating the brilliant opinions and ideas of all of my fellow SEAsters with one another.
Hello, my name is Julie Prestigiacomo, and I am part of the class of 2020! I play three sports, I am very sarcastic, and love to cook. Puns are my favorite things, and all competitions excite me.
Hi, my name is Graceanna Gargano, aka G!  I’m currently a sophomore and the student council treasurer here at the Academy. I live in Morristown and I have one older brother who obviously does not attend Saint Elizabeth’s (haha). I play field hockey in the fall and basketball in the winter, two really fun sports with the best teammates! When I’m not studying,  doing homework, or playing sports, I hang out with my friends or binge watch shows on Netflix. I’m excited to meet the newcomers and get to know everyone better!
Hi! My name is Elizabeth Benelli. I am one of the Senior Class Officers. I am so excited for the upcoming events in Student Council and ready to amp up the school spirit! I love getting involved with school activities and being a part of many clubs! I live in Madison with my Mom, Dad, two brothers, and my dog. Some of my hobbies include hanging with friends and getting caramel ice coffee (extra caramel of course) from Dunkin’ on the daily. I also love playing sports! I am on the field hockey, softball, and swim teams. I love being on a team with all my friends and just having fun.
Hello, my name is Ava Salerno and I am one of the senior class officers for the 2017-2018 school year.  I live in Morristown, New Jersey and I am the youngest member of my family.  I have an older sister named Julia who is a graduate of the Academy. My dog Lucy is more important than my sister and I combined!  Outside of school I enjoy baking, helping others, shopping, and being with my friends and family. I am an avid member of EPOCH, Diversity Club, Fashion Club, Spanish Club and JSA. I am very excited for Student Council this year and I am ready to embark on fun, exciting new changes!!
Hello, I am Cameron Corcoran and I am a Junior Class officer.  I play varsity volleyball and lacrosse at the Academy.  I also participate in numerous clubs including diversity, ecology, JSA, and I am an Ambassador.
Hi, I’m Hannah Corcoran and I am a junior at the Academy.  I am on the swim team and I also participate in various clubs, such as Junior States of America and Toward Boundless Charity. My favorite classes include Biology, English, and History. I was the sophomore class president last year and loved it so much I felt inclined to become a co-officer (with my fellow, unrelated Corcoran:) ). This way, I could have first hand participation in the school while representing my classmates. I am excited to make 2017-2018 the best year at the Academy yet!
Hi!  My name is Ashley Garrett, and I am a sophomore at the Academy.  I am one of the Class Officers of the Class of 2020. Throughout the year we will be keeping our class posted on all upcoming events, as well as helping organize them. At AOSE I play field hockey and basketball, and participate in Toward Boundless Charity, and EPOCH.  Outside of school, my hobbies include baking, hanging out with my friends, and binge-watching whatever show I’m currently hooked on.  I am so excited for this school year and can’t wait to get to know everyone in my class better.
Hi, my name is Casey Santoriello, and I am one of the sophomore class officers at the Academy.  Although I have only been here for one year, I am excited to be a part of the changes we are looking to make.  I am part of the volleyball and lacrosse teams, as well as several clubs, such as the Ambassador Club and the Baking Club.  Schoolwork takes up a lot of my time, but when I am not studying I enjoy spending time with my friends or watching Netflix.  I can’t wait to be a part of Student Council this year and impact our wonderful school for the better!
