AOSE Parents Association

Welcome to the AOSE Parents Association!

We are a parent-operated association with a mission of supporting and promoting the growth of our school through spiritual and social events, fundraising and community service.

As one of America’s oldest and most prestigious all-girls parochial high schools, we hold a responsibility of continuing the tradition of educating and advancing young women in every aspect of life. We produce confident and empowered young women who are prepared to make a difference in a world that needs them.

To that end, we endeavor to be stewards of our school by providing support to our faculty, parents and students of today and tomorrow.

AOSEPA traditions include social events like Beefsteak and Laughs, Mother Daughter Tea, Dads and Moms Night out, Panther Pride Day and many others.

We also support the promotion of our school to prospective families by assisting at open houses and other promotional events.

Our association is guided by a board that manages and coordinates events. But the secret to our success is in the parents who roll up their sleeves. We are all parents who believe in the values that AOSE teaches our girls, and we are ready to assist as needed.

Meetings are held in our beautiful Study Hall on the first Monday of each month at 7pm. The AOSEPA mirrors the values of our school. We are inclusive and tolerant, with an open-door policy for all parents of our school. We are a family, so you can show up to a meeting and expect to be greeted with welcoming smiles, a hot slice of pizza, and an invitation to be a part of the great happenings at our beloved AOSE.

See you at the next meeting!

AOSE SCRIP FUNDRAISING

Scrip is an ongoing fundraising effort in which families order gift cards from the school.  These cards are meant not only to be used as gifts but also to be used by the school families in their own routine shopping activities in place of cash or credit cards.  The cards are purchased by the Parents Association from a third party vendor at a discounted rate, and the price differential is retained by the Parents Association as profit, which is in turn used in a variety of capacities designed to improve the social and academic lives of the students at AOSE.

In order to take advantage of this fundraising opportunity, simply:

  1. Download the paper order form below          OR
  2. Complete an online order through this website: www.shopwithscrip.com

Then turn in your order form along with a check made out to “AOSE Scrip” to the Scrip committee member who will be sitting in the back of the study hall from 7:40 to 8:15 each Wednesday morning. Alternatively, you can bring your order form and payment to Mrs. Grembowiec in the school office.  Orders will be placed with the vendor each Wednesday morning, and cards may then be picked up the next Wednesday morning in the back of the study hall.

Any questions about the Scrip program may be addressed to Cindy Prestigiacomo.
