The Academy of St. Elizabeth was created to empower young women through education and personal growth. Our focus on academic achievement within a Catholic environment places our students on the path to career and personal fulfillment.
Established in 1860 as New Jersey's first all-girls Catholic preparatory school, the Academy of St. Elizabeth has spent more than 150 years producing young leaders. We provide a rigorous academic program that includes frequent educational counseling to ensure that students are able to reach their full potential. We offer a wide variety of courses, including Advanced Placement courses, to enable students to pursue academic and artistic excellence.
We believe in promoting a holistic education that focuses on academic, physical, and spiritual well-being. We encourage compassion and self-reliance in our students and prepare them to become lifelong learners by promoting our core values, which are:
We foster moral responsibility through the teachings of the Catholic Church and the mission of the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth.
We are proud to continue our tradition as an all-girls private school. Studies have demonstrated that all-girl academic institutions produce students that are more well-rounded, have better study habits, and have greater self-confidence than students that attend co-ed private schools.
