Principal's Letter

Welcome to the Academy of Saint Elizabeth!

The Academy community is so very proud of its enduring legacy as the oldest Catholic, independent, college preparatory school exclusively for young women in the state, founded and sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth. We continue to seek exciting opportunities to share the St. Elizabeth story and illuminate the ways in which the Academy experience shapes young women who emerge confident, self-assured leaders with a unique understanding of their God-given talents. Our focus remains clear: we work each day to fulfill our mission to promote the disciplines of academic excellence and moral responsibility by sustaining a scholarly environment and a nurturing community of faith while embracing the model of continuous improvement to best meets the diverse needs of our students.
What makes this community special is an emphasis on what matters most— interpersonal relationships, faith formation, a challenging academic program, a steadfast
commitment to service and the indelible bonds formed through working collaboratively to
reach shared goals.
I am confident you will be quite impressed with all that the Academy has to offer. The Academy is truly a warm, caring, inclusive community where a young woman may discover who she was meant to be.
