Dong Hyeon Jeong
Dr. Jeong earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Santo Tomas. His graduate work began at the Candler School of Theology at Emory University, where he took a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology. Finally, he earned his PhD in New Testament from Drew University. Here at the Academy, Dr. Jeong teaches Scripture and Social Justice. His professional affiliations include the Society of Biblical Literature and American Academy of Religion and the Forum for Theological Exploration.
Dr. Jeong's work has been recognized with numerous awards: Helen LePage and William Hale Chamberlain Best Dissertation Award; Forum for Theological Exploration Doctoral Fellow; Newhall Teaching Fellow; Most Outstanding International Student in the Philippines 2002.
