Freshman & New Student Orientation Schedule
The Academy looks forward to welcoming our new students this week for Orientation on Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 1. The two-day schedule is packed with exciting and informative events to kick off the new school year!
On Wednesday, Orientation will run from 8:15 AM- 3:00 PM. Billy Ward, our guest speaker, will give a presentation on "The Role of Spirit and Connection." An overview of Life at the Academy, a Campus Tour, a class on "Strategies for High School Success" hosted by the Counseling Department, and an Ice Cream Social hosted by the Parents' Association are on the agenda as well. Parents are welcome to come at 2:00 PM for a Parent Meet and Greet!
On Thursday, students will be immersed in learning about Google Classroom and other technological resources, as well as meet their teachers as they go through a shortened version of their class schedule.
