Academy Announces Addition of Golf for Spring 2026

Today, in celebration of Women’s Golf Month, the Academy of Saint Elizabeth officially announces its preparations for the 2025-2026 athletic year with the exciting addition of Golf as our newest competitive sports offering.
“After several inquiries about golf,” said Mr. Pat Scarpello, Director of Athletics, “we have decided that it would be in the best interest of our current students and future Panthers to add golf to our spring sports offerings. Golf has grown in popularity over the last several years, especially since the founding of Women’s Golf Month in 2005, which is celebrated each June. Since then, over 135,000 women have been introduced to the game of golf, and we are now proud to join in that effort and do the same here at the Academy.”

As the program is in the process of being formally established within its respective competitive conference for Spring 2026, information concerning coaching opportunities and student-athlete signups will be released at a later date.

“The future growth of athletics at the Academy is something I am blessed to be a part of, especially over the next year,” reflected Scarpello. “I want nothing more than for our girls to discover their true athletic potential and learn how to grow as individuals, both on and off the fields, courts, and now golf courses, where they will compete as Panthers.”
